Things to do in the Watergate Bay Area
The beaches of Cornwall are amazing and have a lot to offer for everyone, whether its to surf or sunbathe there is something for everyone. Big open beaches perfect for beach activities such as Power kiting at Watergate bay. To small secluded coves that are picture perfect havens of paradise. Most beaches have facilities of some sort especially the well kept beach car parks and land of the National Trust.
Dogs are allowed on some beaches but beware of summer restrictions.
Probably the 8th wonder of the world, the Gigantic Boimes based in the foot of a disused quarry form a spectacular horticultural bonanza. The Eden Project in Cornwall is a fantastic asset to the county and offers something for everyone from young to old. The science centre is a brilliant edition to the whole attraction.
With a Rain forest Biome and a Mediteranian biome they create some spectacular scenery, with massive trees and plants that collapse when you touch them this really is an amazing set of gardens.
The Sea Fishing in Cornwall is amazing whether your casting off a beach or a cliff or from a boat you will be amazed at the diversity of fish that you can catch. See our Boat trips page to book now
There are pleasure boats that run high speed tours around the Estuary everyday from the Padstow Harbour. Great fun for all the family.
Relentless Boardmasters Festival
The Relentless Boardmasters event is held not only in Newquay at fistral beach but on the cliff tops at watergate bay, where for three days and nights there is the mother of all festivals. With Music for everyone and lots to do you can really soak up the beauty of it all. Overlooking the bay you can cruise down the beach for a surf then roll back up the hill for some fun and frolics at the festival. What better way to enjoy the summer.
