The Porthmeor Plunge

Are you ready to take the plunge into the clearest water known in the UK?! You can experience being part of the amazing seascape surrounding St Ives by throwing yourself off the cliffs into these famous waters. The clear water and amazing rock formations create some of the most amazing coasteering in the St Ives area.

The coasteering in St Ives isn’t the most full on adventure but don’t be put off as it has all the elements required to make an amazing little trip and with the resident seals and the regular sightings of dolphins, this really is an amazing way to spend half of your day.

If you are near, or in St Ives, then we are the only company to offer coasteering in the St Ives area. We will come to St Ives and put on a bespoke coasteering adventure for you and your group.

All the features in the St Ives Coasteer Route are optional which makes it the perfect activity for mixed ability groups. Challenge yourself with nature’s watery wonderland – fun, adventure and challenges – all enjoyed at your own pace.

High tide only so we have to work around the tides for this great coasteering route. It's a short but amazing route with all the features required for a fantastic trip.

Meeting Point

We meet in the Porthmeor Beach Carpark where there are toilets, it's close to the town centre and right on the beach. We kit up there and leave from the beach.

Essential Info

You ask.. We answer...
When? All activities start at either 9.30am, 1.30pm or 4.30pm unless otherwise arranged. Specific times will be allocated to you on booking your activity but it is always best to be at least 10 minutes early
Who? Age restrictions of 12 yrs or over do apply, however it is more dependent on whether the child fits into our smallest wetsuit and safety equipment. Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult. You do not need to be fit, however you do need to be physically and mentally able to be comfortable in this sort of outdoor environment. 
What do we need to bring? All specialist equipment is included in the price but you will need to bring something to wear under a wetsuit, swimming attire is best, some trainers (to get wet), a towel and warm clothes for afterwards. If you are booked on to full day trip please bring food and water for the day.
