Stand-up surfing is one of the most popular and fastest growing board sports. It has deep routes from Hawaii and a long history in the U.K as a recognised adventurous activity. The sport of surfing is fun, exhilarating and a great buzz. It is great for fitness, water confidence and the pure pleasure of being close to the ocean.

Stand-up surfing is one of the most satisfying but demanding of all board sports, Vertical Descents aims to provide the most professional surf coaching available. We not only give you a structured lesson, which deals with YOUR abilities, but we will show you some of the real essence in surfing.

Please bring with you suitable clothing for the time of year and weather.

There is a height restriction on this activity, participants must be 1.25m+. Under 16 year olds require a parent or guardian to hand but aren’t required to take part. We are AALA Licensed to take juniors on adventurous activities.

Sessions Start – 9.30 am, 1.30 pm or 4.30 pm most days, but bespoke times are available so please check. All bookings must be made in advance. Open all year round.
