This 2 day workshop is based around the core skills required in moving around basic canyons.

The core skills include:-

• Jumping.
• Equipment.
• Canyon climbing.
• Swimming.
• Sliding.
• Spotting
• Basic rope work, knots and Rappelling.
• Flash floods.
• Anchor selection.
• Risk management.
• Weather.
• Topography.

The Technical Canyon course is the foundation level for those going for Level 1 guide assessment. Therefore you should be comfortable with all of the skills included in the skills sheet in order to pass.
