We are affiliated with many organisations in order to offer the highest possible quality and safe service.
Being experts in the field of swift water rescue and offering skills courses to the Fire Service and Mountain Rescue we feel that we are at a level of competency that ensures safe practice to all of our customers.
All of our staff have qualifications in adventurous activities and all have had the highest level of in house training that can be provided.
The organisations which we are affiliated to are governing bodies who ensure the standard of practice is safe as well as enabling us to have a license to operate with under 18’s. The bodies are:

All of our staff enjoy and practice the activities we provide, not only in the working environment but in their own time as well. The enthusiasm and abilities ensure that you are guided or coached in a manner which is not only safe but caters to your learning ability.
Safety is our absolute priority. Throughout our years of operation, we have developed comprehensive safety systems. The wilderness environment in which we operate is often demanding and testing. Therefore we have developed activities that are safe, exciting and adventurous.
All instructors are committed to providing the highest level of service possible. We continuously monitor and review your feedback to ensure that this happens. Our instructors are also trained and qualified to the highest standard, with experience from all over the world.
Vertical Descents provides Swift water rescue training to Rescue teams nationwide and are technical advisors on canyoning, gorge walking and coasteering for a number of different centres as well as providing combined rock and water skills courses.
