Vertical Descents was originally started in Scotland in the highlands. There we created courses for canyoning and white water rafting for people who wanted things to do in Scotland with a bit more excitement than they were used to. We grew from strength to strength over six years and then we decided to expand to somewhere where we could do more coastline and ocean activity where else but Cornwall.
We offer a wide range of things to do in Cornwall fun exciting and adventurous activities that are watched over by professionals so you are always in safe hands. We offer things to do that will leave a lasting impression on you and remember to bring a camera as you will see some truly spectacular sites.
One of the things we do here in Cornwall is landboard and buggy kiting. If you have tried traction kiting or have seen it in action and thought that it looked good then you will enjoy this. With our courses we will teach you how to control the wind and use its power to have you hurtling across the lovely cornish beaches at dramatic speeds providing you with the rush you have been searching for.
Ocean awareness is another of the things to do in Cornwall. With this course you will learn the dangers you can face in the ocean. This is a particularly good course if you are interested in surfing or other water based sports. We can teach you the way that water morphs this will teach you to become a better surfer.
Our eco traversing course is the ideal way to explore the wildlife of Cornwall. This is not your average stroll along woodland paths, you are jumping from rock to rock climbing along the cliffs edges and exploring untouched caves and coves whilst learning about all the flowers and animals that you come across.
