Kayaking is an excellent sport, whether you have experience of water sports or not kayaking is something which is exhilarating for the novice right up to the professional. The more experience you gain the more difficulty you can add to your courses you undertake, even when you start on flat water you heart will be pumping from the off.
Vertical Descents have some of the best kayaking experts Scotland has to offer, you will paddle and learn from some of the best boaters in Scotland on their local burns. They will take you to the water and show you the techniques involved in steep creeking, effective scouting, chase boating and safety techniques for you to get more out of your river running. Our creek boat workshops will give you the confidence and skills to look after yourself and your friends on the river.
We will asses your group in order to determine where we will take you on your kayaking adventure, in our workshop. The workshops are compulsory for all taking part as this give us a good idea of the ability level for all the group, so we can take you to a run which you will find challenging and fun.
Our Kayaking Scotland Adventure has a basic cost of fifty pounds and there is a minimum of three people per group. Equipment can be hired if you don’t have your own stuff but you must ring in advance to let us know what you need.
