Vertical Descents brought canyoning to Scotland and is one of our most popular activities. We operate the largest commercially run canyons in Scotland - Inchree Falls and Allt Nathrach. Dressed from head to toe in thermal neoprene suits and specialist canyoning equipment, you will experience the thrill of sliding through natural water flumes, swimming through pools and jumping and abseiling off water falls. An unforgettable experience!
Standard canyon is on the Inchree falls, trips start at 9.30 or 1.30
Full day is on the Nanthrach trips stat at 10.00 through to 4.00 this for people who have done the standard trip already. Max Numbers 25 per group

Inchree Falls
A classic two hour Canyon trip.
After a short walk from the Centre you will begin your Vertical Descent of 500ft. This can be taken at your own pace - whether you chose to jump the 30ft drop or be lowered down, it's up to you. Whatever way you do it we guarantee you will be buzzing! The combination of water slides, jumps and pools make this a watery wonderland for all. This teaches you all the techniques required to move onto the next level of Canyoning - the Allt Nathrach.

Allt Nathrach
The Nathrach is a five hour Canyon trip including a 30min Off Road Safari.
The trip is for advanced users only - i.e. those who have completed the Inchree Falls Canyon and are hungry for more off those adrenaline rushes!
Recently pioneered by Vertical Descents staff the Allt Nathrach is as exiting as it is challenging; long abseils, big jumps and big fun!
If you enjoyed your trip down the Inchree canyon and feel that you've just got to have more, then this trip could be for you.
The Allt Nathrach is our flagship canyon and is not for the faint hearted. However, this trip is guided by only our most experienced members of staff, people that live for the thrill that is now on offer to you.
